Rushmoor derby
The Rushmoor Derby is a football derby match played between Aldershot Town and Farnborough Town.
The first meeting of the two sides took place on 3 March 1993 in a Hampshire Senior Cup match. Farnborough Town came out narrow winners, beating Aldershot 3–2 in front of a crowd of 5,961 at Aldershot's Recreation Ground.[1] The attendance of 5,961 is a competition record and in fact nearly 2,000 higher than the record attendance for a final, which currently stands at 4,092.[2]
